Dead Air

Five years ago, a nearby Gamma-Ray Burst combined with an abnormal surge in solar luminosity irreversibly shattered Earth's atmosphere. With UV radiation scorching the surface, sea levels rising, and ecosystems collapsing, humanity was given a final deadline: eleven months to live.

As the planetary collapse escalated, the UN-backed Planetary Defense Force (PDF) seized control of all global communications. Behind closed doors, world leaders funneled critical survival resources into "The Tree of Life"—a secretive project building massive Eden ark ships to transport a chosen elite to Alpha Centauri, leaving the rest of humanity behind.

You play as an operator at a state-controlled radio station. Using a covert AI manipulation software installed by the Hades resistance, you have the power to alter news broadcasts before they hit the airwaves.

• Expose the Truth: Leak information about the PDF's corruption and help the resistance locate and destroy the Eden ships. If humanity dies, everyone dies together.
• Play by the Rules: Obey state mandates, appease the government, and secure a guaranteed ticket on an Eden vessel to escape the doomed planet.
• Maintain the Balance: Avoid drawing suspicion from the state while keeping the resistance from deciding you're an enemy worth eliminating.
